Fillings for You is a home bakery located in the northern Dallas, Tx area. I am Shelby Ramirez who like a lot of us started my baking journey with family at home. My dad made cakes that were delicious and made people smile from ear to ear. I fell in love with that feeling of being able to make people smile and feel joy though what they were eating therefore, began the journey. I started listening more in my home economics class in high school, started playing with flavors, spices, and even chemistry of what happens in the oven to get the perfect bake. All of it fed my ability to produce the most tasty desserts to get that smile from people that I saw my dad achieve. Fillings for You started in Anderson, TX, a tiny country town with good people and southern values. We then moved to Houston and started to take off as an “At Home” bakery gaining events and interest from all over the city. How we got to Dallas you might ask, my husband got a wonderful job and we moved! We are now active in Dallas and still getting the smiles I was after in the beginning!
